The Beauty of a First Post
The beauty of a first post is the chance to start new. For me, sharing my photography somewhere else rather than Instagram is new for me.
I feel as though I have been given a clean slate. I can express my thoughts freely because y’all don’t know me. At least not yet.
I am excited to create new art that I can put out for the world. I will try my best to let you see through my eyes. I say try because not a single person sees things as someone else sees them.
It’s currently 11pm on a Friday night. This is when I think best. When all of the chaos of the day has settled and I can finally take a deep breath. I feel many emotions at night. Sometimes I ponder on the past and all of the things I could have done differently. I think of loss and heartbreak. But I never fail to remind myself that all of that was in the PAST. Those things made me into the person I am today.
I am also at peace during the night. I think of all of the things I love. I love coffee on a cold winter day. I love my best friends. I love the warm sun on my face on Saturday afternoons. I love God and the everlasting love that he shows every day of my life. I love to dance. I love my family and everything that they do for me. I love good music and yummy food, especially when put together. I love innocent love. And finally, I absolutely love life. All of its simple beauties leave me in awe. Every day I wake up to an overflowing amount of blessings. This is what I live for.
I am inviting you on the crazy ongoing journey that I like to call my life. Sounds pretty intimidating right? Well I promise it’s not, it’s actually a lot of fun!
Good luck with your blog!

How did you get your blog set up like you did? I’ve been trying to have it like portfolio’s but it doesn’t work?

I chose the theme “Triton Lite” and I just messed around with a few of the settings, and it turned out like that 🙂 Its fairly simple once you explore the theme a little bit!
